Saffil is a global company developing and selling innovative high temperature solutions and performance materials with the mission to create value for our customers in their products and processes. The business is split up into two main areas; Saffil (Automotive) and Saffil (Performance Materials)

The Saffil business has a rich history based around the class leading Saffil® High Alumina Fibre and has received awards such as Queens Award: Technology (1978), Export Achievement (1995). The business has subsequently evolved into one of the foremost performance materials businesses.

Saffil (Automotive)

Saffil Automotive manufactures the Ecoflex® Product Range for Catalytic Converter support mats and End Cone Insulation and the Ecoform® Product Range for Metal Matrix reinforcements.

Saffil (Performance Materials)

The Performance materials business supplies bulk fibre and engineered solutions into industries such as the ceramic, iron and steel, and petrochemical industries. Saffil fibre is used to supply furnace/kiln lining and seal solutions, and involvement in the fabrication of hard ceramic boards and shapes for lining, structures and consumables

Saffil performance materials has developed many solutions to unique applications in speciality and niche markets such as the Saffil CG which has a porous structure to allow catalyst impregnation on the extremely high surface area fibre for catalysed high temperature applications
